We design and build bespoke saunas for both private and commercial settings. Every sauna is tailored to its location, whether it is integrated within an existing building, retrofitted into a defined space, or delivered as a standalone structure.
Our approach is rooted in precision joinery, careful detailing, and materials selected specifically for long term heat and moisture exposure.
BESPOKE BY NATURE

All Nook saunas are bespoke. Rather than offering fixed sizes or off the shelf models, each sauna is designed around the dimensions, constraints, and use of the space it will occupy.
This allows us to deliver:
-
Retrofit saunas within existing rooms or buildings
-
Saunas integrated into extensions or refurbishments
-
Standalone sauna structures
-
Commercial saunas for gyms, wellness studios, hotels, and retreats
Whether the project is compact or large scale, the focus remains the same: build quality, performance, and longevity.

Many of our sauna projects are delivered within existing buildings. This may include spare rooms, basements, outbuildings, commercial units, or wellness spaces.
We assess ventilation, insulation, structure, and layout to ensure the sauna performs properly within its environment. Where required, we work alongside other trades to integrate electrical, plumbing, glazing, and finishes seamlessly.
Retrofit saunas are designed to feel purposeful and resolved, not forced into place.

Saunas, an age-old practice, now reveal their profound impact on health. Beyond aiding in recovery, hypertrophy, and promoting better sleep, recent studies highlight a significant reduction in the risk of cardiovascular disease. A 20-year study with 2,300 sauna bathers demonstrated that those who visited the sauna more frequently (four to seven times a week) experienced up to a 60% reduction in death rates from heart disease and stroke. The therapeutic benefits of saunas extend far beyond relaxation, contributing to overall cardiovascular health.
