Wilmslow, Cheshire
To refurbish and remodel a small Victorian property in the heart of Cheshire. The client had a passion for contemporary materials such as stainless steel combining them with mid-century furniture all the while honing the original Victorian features on the exterior of the property. Down to every last detail the project was relentless in pursuing quality. The brickwork was all reclaimed Cheshire and they were laid in a Flemish bond to match the original. Timber sash windows added to match the originals and stone sills assure the property keeps its authenticity.
A traditional Victorian front door and porch detail really elevated the frontage and gives the property kerb appeal. We have enjoyed revisiting this project over the years and it has matured and aged with a genuine subtlety that is hard to create.
